The root cause of all evils in India – Inefficient Judiciary
In India we have 13 lakh+ Doctors (MoHFW) and 4 lakh+ Chartered Accountants (ICAI)
But Judges in India – Only 23,790 (PIB Delhi)
Meanwhile, China has over 2 lakh judges – nearly 10x, most of them are recruited via written exam.
Over 60% of judges in High Courts & the Supreme Court have never written a competitive exam.
Any random LLB holder can be appointed as Judge through a closed-door collegium system – no public scrutiny, no exams, no elections.
In contrast, in the USA, 70% of judges are directly elected by voters/citizens and even appointed judges require Senate approval.
PMs/CMs/MPs are responsible for overall less number of the judges, however even Chief Justices of HC & SC keeping existing positions vacant.
As of 2024, 33% of High Court judge posts are vacant (400+ HC judge positions lie empty) while 5 crore + cases are pending in Indian courts.
Delays in judicial appointments may not be accidental – fewer judges mean more control, more influence, and in some cases, greater scope for corruption.
60%+ of judges have not disclosed their assets publicly – yet many of them preside over corruption and financial crime cases.
No journalist or influencer in India talks about it, nor they send an open letter or tweet to PM to make “family tree” of judges & lawyers public.
High Court judges are allotted prime bungalows in major cities – with monthly fair market rents easily crossing ₹10 lakh – fully paid for by taxpayers.
Unlike most employees (who get 30 paid leaves annually), courts shut down for over 120+ days a year.
The concept of a “vacation bench” is inefficient – during vacations, courts hear 1–2 cases/day vs. 10+ on regular days – a drop of over 80% in organisational efficiency.
In India, only LLBs are allowed to become judges. Meanwhile, a doctor or engineer can become an IPS or IAS or IRS officer – but not a judge.
Globally, many countries allow any graduate to enter the judiciary – and train them in legal systems during probation.
India has gone the opposite way – even banning distance LLB degrees to further restrict entry.
People who are smart and choose maths/science/commerce as their careers are systematically eliminated from the process of becoming a judge and only relatives of lawyers and judges get the advantage (hence even night colleges for LLBs are almost 0 in India)
Recently, burnt cash was found in the outhouse of a sitting Delhi HC judge.
100+ days on: No FIR, no arrests, no press conference and no reaction from the PM, President, Opposition
Why? Because the judiciary is shielded by the deep state – an elite circle above scrutiny.
🤐 Who Hides the Truth?
Journalists, influencers, university professors, and political leaders rarely question judicial corruption.
Why? Because many are beneficiaries of judicial silence or directly influenced by bribes and favors.
🧱 Weak Judiciary = Weak Nation
A broken justice system leads to everything:
– Rising corruption
– Poor Civic Sense
– More Crimes
Until the judiciary is reformed – with written exams (no interviews), accountability = elections, asset disclosures, and real transparency – no real change can happen in India.
To hide these facts, “judicial reforms + corruptions” are never talked by influencers, journalists, leaders in public domain and divide-rule topics like casteism, gender debates, regional disputes are highlighted.

It may take time for one to understand and appreciate the necessity of judicial elections, recall, jury.
However, please take efforts to implement basic solutions that can be achieved in few months as follows:
1. Install Camera at all Public Places
2. Provision to file E-FIR
3. Provision for 90% online hearing of civil cases & crimes against women
4. Mandating public narco test of the accused in popular cases
5. Recruiting judges, at minimum 2 lacs in 5 years via National level competitive written exam like (IIT-JEE, CA etc)
Also, post 10-15 comments/blogs every month on social media and handles of influencers/journalists and force them talk on these issues.
Please vote for candidates who support judicial elections & jury system.
Reach out to Right To Recall Party and get a ticket & contest elections in your city for MP/MLA/Corporator to bring these reforms in Bharat.
